We are currently allowed by the State of Maine to accept reservations from Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, New York & New Jersey residents with no requirements.
Guests from other states may stay with us if they sign a compliance form at arrival stating that they have met the State of Maine’s 14 day quarantine guidelines or have tested negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours of their arrival. Masks must be worn by all guests when on the property, except when they are in their room or seated at a table in the dining room.
Our “Stay Safe” Guidelines:
Cleaning and disinfecting protocols require that particular attention is paid to high-touch, hard nonporous items including television remote controls, toilet seats and handles, door and furniture handles, water faucet handles, nightstands, in-room control panels, light switches, temperature control panels, alarm clocks, luggage racks and flooring. All bed linens, including quilts, blankets, pillow shams & sheets will be washed in between each room reservation.
Housekeeping staff will not enter the guest room for cleaning during the first phase of opening.
Guests may request extra towels, sheets, amenities, etc. for door side delivery.
Dirty linen will be bagged in the guest room to eliminate excess contact while being transported to the laundry facility.
Our four inviting guest rooms are located on the second floor and are spacious and bright. Our rooms retain the original charm of the house with large windows, oak floors and antiques, yet have been updated with modern amenities including individual thermostats, private baths, air conditioning, wireless internet and cable TV/DVD. All guest rooms have individual refrigerators & a freezer stocked with fresh ice, as well as Keurig coffee makers with organic coffee & Harney Fine Teas. We are currently providing a complimentary in room continental breakfast which includes a home made pastry (blueberry streusel coffee cake, orange cranberry scones & cinnamon sugar donuts are guest favorites) as well as Vermont Creamery yogurt, Grandy Oats granola, Natalie’s Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice & fresh fruit. At this time, we are not providing breakfast service in our dining room.
EV Charging Stations for our overnight guests are available to use!

If you have recently been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, have tested positive yourself, or have a cough or fever, please do not plan to stay at the inn. If you need to cancel your reservation for a COVID-19 related reason, our standard cancellation fee will be waived and your deposit will be refunded in full.
Dinner reservations may be made online or by phone, preferably prior to your arrival. Dining space is limited, so please plan ahead if you would like to dine with us. Masks need to be worn while you are entering & leaving the dining rooms, but not when you are seated at the table.
A deposit equal to one night’s room and tax for stays of 1-3 nights, 50% of total reservation for 4+ nights or the complete package price, whichever is applicable, is required to confirm your reservation and will be charged to your credit card.
In the event of a cancellation, your deposit will be refunded less a $25 cancellation charge PER ROOM RESERVED up to 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellations received within the 14 day window will be refunded less the cancellation charge, only if we are able to re-book the room for the length of original reservation. No shows and early departures are financially responsible for their entire reservation. We are a small hotel, so we never overbook.
For your comfort we are totally SMOKE FREE. Smokers may use the front porch or smoke out in the yard. Guests who disregard our policies and smoke in their rooms can expect to be charged a cleaning fee of 1 full night’s stay to give us 24 hours to make the room smoke-free again.
Winter cancellations are accepted only if airports are closed & roads to our inn are not passable.
Check-in time is between 3 pm and 6 pm. Please let us know if you will be later than 6 pm. No check-ins are available earlier than 3 pm, unless special arrangements have been made in advance.
