We are fortunate to live in a remarkably beautiful part of New England. Lakes, rivers and mountains are plentiful, offering spectacular views, sparkling waterfalls, antique covered bridges, canoeing, hiking and many more year round activities. While our town has preserved its relaxed, unhurried pace and neighborly way of life, delicious, often locally grown food, distinctive art and talented musicians may be found in the many restaurants, galleries, shops and theatres in the quaint villages nearby. Mt. Washington, the Cog Railway, Conway Scenic Railway, Storyland, moose tours, tax-free outlet shopping and of course Maine’s Blue Ribbon Classic, the Fryeburg Fair, are unique area attractions that have distinguished the Mt. Washington Valley as a vacation destination. Below is a collection of recommended local highlights, changing seasonally. Look them over for ideas, then give us a call and we will help you plan a visit tailored to your specific interests. We are always available during your stay to help you plan your next adventure.
